This policy describes how SoulDay, Inc. handles consumer health data. It applies to all SoulDay users in the United States.
What consumer health data we collect
Information about your mental and emotional state: the state and feeling you select each day, the continuous daily record derived from those selections, the weekly and monthly summaries built from it, and the daily message and essay our AI writes about your emotional state.
Where it comes from
Directly from you, through your daily check-ins. We do not obtain it from any other source.
Why we collect it
Solely to provide SoulDay: to generate your daily message and essay, render your soul, maintain your timeline, and — only if you choose to connect with someone — show your state and history to your soul-mates.
Who we share it with
- Google LLC, which generates your daily writing. Google keeps a copy for up to 55 days to detect abuse of its service. Google is not permitted to train AI models on it.
- Supabase, Inc. and Railway Corp., which store and run our systems on our behalf.
- Any soul-mate you connect with, who can see your live state and feeling, your emotional timeline, what you are working toward, and the state you were in when you send them a gesture.
We do not sell consumer health data and we will not, which means we will never ask you to sign an authorization to sell it.
Your rights
You may confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data; learn who we have shared it with; withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing; and have it deleted.
How to exercise them
Email privacy@soulday.ai. We will verify your identity through your registered email address and respond within 45 days, or tell you why we need up to 45 more days. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response; we will decide within 45 days and explain why. If we deny your appeal, you may complain to the Washington Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint or to your own state attorney general.
Withdrawing consent
You can stop sharing with any individual by disconnecting from them in Settings — they immediately stop seeing your state and your history. To withdraw your consent to our collection of consumer health data, delete your account in Settings. SoulDay stops working when you do, because the daily check-in is the product. We will tell you that clearly before you confirm.
Who can see it inside SoulDay
Employees and contractors with access to consumer health data are limited to those who need it to do their jobs and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
